Movies, Games And Videos! 18th May, 2006

First things first Finlay has announced a couple of shows for you to put in your diaries. We’re playing the “Tales of the Jackalope” Festival (presented by Vice Magazine) on 8 th July, 2006 in the grounds of a 14th century Jacobean manor house (a field in Gloucestershire somewhere), and then the ROCK night in the “100 years of Fortuna POP!” festival at the Lumiere on the 31 st August (with some very special bands). More details (and indeed, gigs) will follow.

Finlay’s "extraordinary masterpiece", The Fall of Mary, is now available to buy in all the shops. Look at what all these people have said about it and then buy it:

"Perhaps the best US indie-rock record not to come out of the States this year" - SoundsXp

"The best, most hypnotic, moving, engaging, skewed, lo-fi, glittering, colourful, concise, inventive guitar record of 2006." - Robots and Electronic Brains

"Jam-packed with originality, and a great song-writing talent, there's anthems galore throughout this album." - This is Lancashire

"Caustic, Pavement-like alt-rock fires brilliantly chunky tunes" - Vanity Project

"You have, and we both know this, got to have it." - Unpeeled.co.uk
